Tracy Marsh of Restaurant Cops, LLC explains the plan for going green.Not only do we recycle and use (CFL) Compact Fluorescent light bulbs, but we are now going to the extreme to be green.The power used by lighting, fax machines, computers, phone charges, etc will be from power we produce ourselves with the (PV) Photovoltaic Array run through the Outback Power Systems grid-tie inverter and charge controller. The HVAC system is a TRANE geothermal ground source heat pump and all the hot water for domestic use and home heating is produced by flat panel solar hot water collectors by SolarHot. The domestic solar hot water is stored in a brand new water heater/solar storage tank designed and built by Rheem. The entire system is also computer controlled with the sophisticated programming done by owners Everett Pastureau and Patrick Randall of Syntergy, LLC Energy Management Solutions.
